4000 ppm is the number that makes this different. Most solar water heaters top out at 600 ppm for flat plate systems, or 2000 ppm for the best glass-lined tanks. This Supreme handles double that. If your borewell water is genuinely severe the kind that scales a geyser within a year and has defeated equipment before this is built for it.
